Arbutin and Vitamin C inhibit the activity of tyrosinase, an enzyme essential in the process of melanin formation. Additionally, Lightderm® restricts its synthesis.
Lightderm® reduces the number of melanosomes, specialized parts of melanocyte cells responsible for the synthesis and storage of melanin.
Niacinamide limits the transfer of melanin to keratinocytes in the epidermis, the sites of discoloration formation.
